Second round of emergency cash grants now available for international students

A second round of emergency cash grants are now available for international students still experiencing financial hardship as a result of COVID-19. The International Student Support Package (ISSP) was announced earlier this year by the South Australian Government to support international students studying and residing in South Australia.

The grants can be accessed in the following ways:

  • For students studying or packaged with a public university (Flinders University, University of Adelaide and University of South Australia), the application process is through the university.
  • For students (excluding school students) studying with other providers, the application process is directly with the South Australian Government. Students can now apply for a second $500 emergency cash grant. The total value of funds students can receive across two grants is $1,000.
