APAC was established in 1993, it is an independent performing arts school, which is design for independent artists. Bachelor of Screen and Stage (Screen Production)

CRICOS CODE – 105177B

This course includes all fields of pre-production. For instance, you will learn how to write scripts, create all aspects of digital media and lead actors. Furthermore, students will have an opportunity to cooperate with short films, music video, television commercials and website series.

 

What will you learn in this course?

Practical skills such as handling industry standard production equipment and state-of-art digital technology. It allows students to pitch ideas, learn budgeting, distribution and marketing, so students can create their own projects.

Duration: 2 years full time
Credit Points: Students must complete 240 credit points comprising
Delivery Mode: On campus (Brisbane)
Entry Requirements:
• An Australian Senior Certificate of Education or equivalent
• A Diploma or higher from an Australian higher education institution or an overseas equivalent qualification
•An interview is required for entry
• IELTS (or equivalent) at a score of at least 6.0 (with no individual band score less than 5.5)

Career Outcomes: Lighting Designer, Sound Recorder, Director of Photography, Production Manager, Post-Production, Creative Director, etc.

 

Bachelor of Screen and Stage (Song and Dance)

The Bachelor of Screen and Stage (Song & Dance) is designed for the modern-day performing artist, to enhance and integrate the complementary performance skills which are increasingly in demand, not only in the contemporary stage musical, but also in the rapid growth sector of the music video.
What will you learn in this course?

You will learn and cooperate with actors, singers, dancers and filmmakers on various projects. Students will develop skills such as musicianship, songwriting, recording, interview techniques, as well as career planning strategies.

Duration: 2 years full time
Credit Points: Students must complete 240 credit points comprising
Delivery Mode: On campus (Brisbane)
Entry Requirements:
• An Australian Senior Certificate of Education or equivalent
• A Diploma or higher from an Australian higher education institution or an overseas equivalent qualification
•An interview and capability assessment is mandatory
• IELTS (or equivalent) at a score of at least 6.0 (with no individual band score less than 5.5)

Bachelor of Screen and Stage (Acting)
COURSE CODE – 105175D

This acting course is designed to develop not only technical performance skills but also broader critical thinking, analytical and communication skills, and contextual knowledge. APAC provides the best with unique classes and guest lectures led by a series of industry professionals, national and global artists.

What will you learn in this course?

You will learn movement, voice and speech, through to combat, audition skills, and exciting new works. Graduates will be articulate, skilled, contextually aware, professionally proficient and highly employable across the acting industry.

Entry Requirements:
• An Australian Senior Certificate of Education or equivalent
• A Diploma or higher from an Australian higher education institution or an overseas equivalent qualification
• An interview and/or audition may be required for students with no prior acting experience
• IELTS (or equivalent) at a score of at least 6.0 (with no individual band score less than 5.5)
